Beginning Close Combat with Your Vehicle

During your main phase, you may swerve your vehicle to begin close combat against your opponent’s vehicle. Essentially, this works like an activated ability on your vehicle that reads:

[Main] Swerve this Begin close combat with your opponent’s vehicle.

Like an activated ability, you begin such a combat by right-clicking your vehicle and choosing the appropriate option from the pulldown menu. Also like an activated ability, you may do this any number of times during a single turn – that is, assuming you have the means to unswerve your vehicle without waiting for your next turn’s unswerve phase.
