The Road to Gen Con

What is the Road to Gen Con? It's a best-of-3 constructed tournament every 3 weeks beginning Saturday, May 27. The top 2 finishers receive a 4-day Gen Con badge and an invitation to the $5,000 Auto Assault TCG World Championships in August at Gen Con Indy in Indianapolis, IN! This is the first Digital TCG World Championships that Gen Con has ever had!

The first qualifier is Saturday, May 27 at 11am server time. This is a Best of 3 event, meaning you'll be playing a best 2 out of 3 match with each opponent you face. The entry fee is 10 event passes. Each participant receives the Highwayman promo, and at least 4 packs of Ignition.

The World Championships are a 8-player, single-elimination, best of 3 event in the Gen Con Exhibit Hall (not the TCG room!) using our computer setup, on Saturday, August 12 at 11am Indiana time.

Here's how the prize structure works out for the World Championships:

• $2,500 First
• $1,000 Second
• $450 Third
• $450 Fourth
• $150 Fifth
• $150 Sixth
• $150 Seventh
• $150 Eighth

If you get top two in any Road to Gen Con event, let us know for certain if you're going to the World Championships. All transportation, lodging, etc. is the responsibility of the participant. If you can't make it, then we will be selecting an alternate from the #3 position on down. If you're not sure if you're going just yet, that's OK too – but we'll need to know fairly soon.

There will also be a host of other awesome prizes such as Auto Assault MMO limited-edition boxes, Auto Assault MMO standard boxes, digital Auto Assault TCG cards and more! Every participant will walk away with money and an armload of swag.
